Q. What is Off to Western?
A. At Western we know that students are often filled with questions and anxieties during the transition period between high school and university. Wondering and worrying about everything university-related is normal. Relax! Off to Western events are designed to make you feel more comfortable with your move to Western. You'll be able to:

• Meet alumni and current Western students from your hometown who will share their experiences and tips for success with you. Plus, you'll recognize some friendly faces on-campus in September!
• Ask as many questions as you want! Want to know what residence food is like? Just what is this O-Week thing you've been hearing about? Maybe you're wondering just how much reading is involved in first year psychology?
• Discover all the student services available at Western to help you succeed.
• Learn about the various clubs you can join, intramurals and volunteer opportunities at Western.

Q. Why should I attend an Off to Western event?
A. Off to Western is a great way to begin on your university adventure! The transition sometimes can be a little overwhelming, especially when you are from another city. There are so many people to meet, and so many things to do! Off to Western gives you a chance to feel more comfortable within the university community before you come to UWO.

Q. Do I need to RSVP to attend?
A. We ask that you please let us know if you and a guest plan on coming. Simply complete the online RSVP form or call 1-800-258-6896 and dial ext. 88254. If you are calling from Hong Kong please dial (852) 2135-2266.

Q. Can I attend if I haven't received an invitation?
A. Sure! Just visit your Hometown location and RSVP for the event online.

Q. How should I dress for the event?
A. Off to Western events are casual - no need to dress up!

Q. Do I need to bring anything with me?
A. Just yourself, your enthusiasm, and your questions!

Q. Can I bring guests to an Off to Western event?
A. Sure! Just let us know how many people and their names when you RSVP.

Q. Is there any cost for me to attend an Off to Western event?
A. The event is free for all participants.
