As Western alumni you are part of a network of nearly a quarter of a million people around the world who share a passion and a pride for our alma mater. Your Alumni Association, through its groups, volunteers, and staff, is committed to delivering the best alumni experience, in keeping with our university's number one ranking as "Canada's best student experience."
VISION: TO INSPIRE ALL ALUMNI TO SHARE A LIFELONG COMMITMENT, PRIDE AND PASSION FOR WESTERN.
Our commitments in support of this vision are several. We support student recruitment and transition through and from academic life to employment. We participate actively in University governance and decision-making. We promote a better understanding between the University and the broader community on issues of shared concern. We invest time, people, and revenues in Western’s financial viability, and in our own student and alumni outreach program. And finally, we are advocates for improved public funding towards a vibrant future for post-secondary education, with Western as a leader among Canadian and international universities.
Your involvement in the Alumni Association is whatever you choose to make it. You may decide to volunteer with a regional alumni group to provide programming and events for other local alumni. You may sign up with one of our commercial affinity partners, offering great savings and value on a variety of programs, products and services uniquely tailored for Western Alumni. You may opt to receive regular updates from the Alumni Association on programs, events and activities where you live or you may elect to come back for Canada’s biggest and best Homecoming. Please keep your mailing and email addresses up to date with Western to ensure you receive news, publications, and event information from us and from our affinity partners in the years ahead.
We all have our own unique Western Experience, the degree we earned, the activities we pursued, and the friends we made. Through your Alumni Association, we work to keep these bonds alive. Your membership is life long, and is free. Carry your degree with pride, and speak of your Western experiences with passion.
